Dr. Tommy Lane of Lane Family Wellness

May 23, 2020

On May 23, we are joined by Dr. Tommy Lane of Lane Family Wellness to discuss many chiropractic and wellness services. Lane Family Wellness is a wellness clinic that offers chiropractic, physical therapy, deep tissue laser, spinal decompression, and is now offering regenerative medicine in the form of PRP and exosomes (form or growth factors to help support and enhance cellular response for an injured area). The clinic has a digital x-ray and videofluoroscopy. Our motto is pain is the motivator, so when in pain call Dr. Lane! Tune into The Weekly Check-Up Tampa every Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM on 102.5 The Bone.

Dr. Tommy Lane grew up in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He has always loved the diversity and community feel in Tarpon Springs. He attended St. Petersburg Junior College where he obtained my Associate of Arts degree and played college baseball. He then received another baseball scholarship to attend Warner University where he achieved a double major with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and Biology.

Dr. Lane had the chance to work in a Physical Therapy and Rehab center where he realized his passion for helping others through promoting positive lifestyle changes. Also while at Warner, he met the love of his life, Kellie, and they have been happily married for the last 15+ years. Upon graduation, he knew that he wanted to go onto graduate school and decided to move to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life University where he graduated with honors and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.

After sitting for the National and State Board Examinations, Dr. Lane stayed in Marietta for another 2 years where he practiced in a multi-disciplinary practice and worked closely with the medical community. Family was the most important thing on Dr. Lane and his wife’s minds so they moved back to Florida to be near their families. In September 2004, he founded Lane Family Chiropractic and has treated patients in the Carrollwood area ever since.

Since moving to Carrollwood, Dr. Lane has served on numerous boards as Carrollwood Area Business Association Past President, Hillsborough County Chiropractic Society President, Kiwanis Club of Carrollwood President, and numerous others. Dr. Lane and his staff have held many successful food drives, toy drives, and continually are voted Best in Customer Service and Health in the Carrollwood and Tampa Bay areas. He continues to be active in the community and promotes a family-style practice where his patients feel at home.
