Dr. Kristina Price and Dr. Pooja Mally of OPAL Aesthetics
On August 11, we are joined by board-certified ophthalmologists, Dr. Kristina Price and Dr. Pooja Mally, of OPAL Aesthetics.
Kristina Price, M.D
Kristina Price, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Oculoplastics. Dr. Price earned her baccalaureate degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia, graduating with distinction. A native of Atlanta, she subsequently attended Emory University School of Medicine where she earned her medical doctorate. While completing her studies at Emory, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor medical society, and received the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation Scholarship.
Dr. Price completed her internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She then returned to Atlanta to complete her residency in ophthalmology at Emory University. She continued her specialty training at Duke University as a Fellow in Oculofacial and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as in Laser and Aesthetic Surgery. Before her departure, Duke University honored her with the OMT Fellow Instructor of the Year.
Dr. Price is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and
In her spare time, Dr. Price enjoys Latin dancing, theatre arts, scuba diving, and spending time with her husband and three sons.
Dr. Price currently serves as Medical Director of OPAL Aesthetics, affiliated with Georgia Eye Partners, located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Price was awarded in 2019 as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
Pooja Mally, M.D.
Dr. Pooja Mally is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is fellowship trained in Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology. She manages and treats diseases related to the eyebrows, eyelids, tear drainage system, and eye socket. She also specializes in cosmetic and laser procedures, including Botox and facial filler injections.
Dr. Mally earned her Bachelor of Sciences at Duke University She received her medical doctorate at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. She completed an internship at UPMC-Mercy Hospital, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Mally went on to complete fellowship training in Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology at Allegheny General Hospital.
