Dr. Amod Sureka of Atlanta Neurosurgical Associates

This week, we’re joined by Dr. Amod Sureka of Atlanta Neurosurgical Associates, a DeKalb Medical Group.

Dr. Amod Sureka is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his medical degree at SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois and completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Schwab Rehab/University of Chicago.

Dr. Sureka specializes in the treatment of spine pain in adults.

He is dedicated to providing personal care to his patient and will develop a treatment plan that fits their needs.

He provides non-surgical treatment options, including medications and/or injections, to help his patients heal and regain function. By working with a team of physicians, he can provide treatment himself or expedite a referral to a surgeon, perhaps allowing the patient to see a surgeon sooner than making an appointment with a surgeon directly.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and twin teenage boys.
