This week we’re joined by Eric Riesenberg of the Atlanta Center for Medical Research, and Dr. Sandea Greene-Harris of DeKalb Medical—live from the Decatur Book Festival.
Eric J. Riesenberg, CPA
Mr. Riesenberg is the director of operations for the Atlanta Center for Medical Research. Overseeing all employees and Investigators, he is involved in every aspect of day-to-day operations at ACMR. Mr. Riesenberg has been an advisor to the board since 2001. He became director of operations in 2008.
Mr. Riesenberg currently serves on the board of advisors to the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Bioscience Leadership Council. He is a member of the American Israel Chamber for Commerce and sits on the medical committee. He also serves on the board of Southern Surplus Liquidators, Inc., a liquidations company in Florida and Georgia. He is a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA) and American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP).
Mr. Riesenberg has served as a past board member to the Florida Department of Children and Family Services. Prior to joining ACMR, Mr. Riesenberg worked in the field of public accounting, where he worked with many public companies in both audits and taxes. He holds a degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Sandea Greene-Harris, MD
Sandea Greene-Harris, M.D. is originally from Montgomery, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree as well as her medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then completed internship and neurosurgical residency at Tulane University and Charity Hospitals in New Orleans, Louisiana. During her residency, Dr. Greene-Harris completed a mini spine fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. She received several awards while in training including Humanism and Excellence in Teaching and Resident of the year nominee. Dr. Greene-Harris is board certified in Neurological Surgery and practices all aspects of care of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. She has a special interest in minimally invasive approaches to brain and spine surgery. Dr. Greene-Harris is a Fellow of the American College of Neurological Surgeons and is a member of Women in Neurosurgery and American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. Greene-Harris is a veteran (LTC) with the United States Army Reserve and served two tours of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. She and her husband Willie are the proud parents of two children. When not attending swim and gymnastic meets, Dr. Greene-Harris enjoys running, cooking, concerts and traveling.
