This week we’ll discuss clinical trials with Dr. Robert Riesenberg and Eric Riesenberg of the Atlanta Center for Medical Research.
Robert Riesenberg, MD
Dr. Riesenberg is the Atlanta Center for Medical Research’s founder, president, CEO, and principal investigator. A research psychiatrist with four decades of experience, Dr. Riesenberg’s primary focus is on CNS, PK, Healthy Normal, and Child/Adolescent disorders. Dr. Riesenberg has been the Principal Investigator in over 600 studies.
Dr. Riesenberg earned a bachelor’s degree in both Zoology and Psychology from Memphis State University in 1972. In 1975, he earned his MD from the University of Tennessee. He is licensed to practice in Georgia.
Eric Riesenberg, CPA
Mr. Riesenberg is the director of operations for the Atlanta Center for Medical Research. Overseeing all employees and Investigators, he is involved in every aspect of day-to-day operations at ACMR. Mr. Riesenberg has been an advisor to the board since 2001. He became director of operations in 2008.
Mr. Riesenberg currently serves on the board of advisors to the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Bioscience Leadership Council. He is a member of the American Israel Chamber for Commerce and sits on the medical committee. He also serves on the board of Southern Surplus Liquidators, Inc., a liquidations company in Florida and Georgia. He is a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA) and American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP).
Mr. Riesenberg has served as a past board member to the Florida Department of Children and Family Services. Prior to joining ACMR, Mr. Riesenberg worked in the field of public accounting, where he worked with many public companies in both audits and taxes. He holds a degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
