Dr. Scott Miller of Georgia Urology is the president and founder of ProstAware, Georgia’s only organization solely dedicated to educating men at risk for prostate cancer through music and technology.

The organization realized that men simply don’t like to talk about prostate cancer. However, each year in the United States, almost 200,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and over 30,000 die from this disease. These numbers rival those for breast cancer in women, yet sadly, education lags far behind.

The 3rd annual Blue Ties event–the major fundraising event for ProstAware, will be held Monday, September 12 from 11:30 a.m.– 1 p.m. at The Ritz Carlton, Buckhead.

Blue Ties is a fun and easy way for you to spread the word about prostate cancer awareness and education.
