Dr. J. Trevor Woodhams of Woodhams Eye Clinic

J. Trevor Woodhams, M.D. founded Woodhams Laser & Lens Implant Center in 1983. He performs thousands of Lasik and Intralasik procedures each year, as well as other vision correction procedures such as Visian® Implantable Contact Lenses and Prelex (or PREsbyopic Lens EXchange.) Dr. Woodhams is a former Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University, certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, and a Fellow in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

He participated in the world’s first LASIK study in Bogotá, Colombia.

He was the first in Georgia to perform IntraLASE® LASIK blade free laser vision correction procedure, the Crystalens® implant for the treatment of presbyopia, and the first to perform the Visian® Implantable Contact Lens (ICL). He is distinguished as the country’s most experienced surgeon with the ICL.

Dr. Woodhams is actively involved in various clinical research projects and FDA-monitored clinical studies.
