Dr. Joanna Dolgoff of Wellstar Health System is joining The Weekly Check-Up on July 27.
Joanna Dolgoff, M.D. is a Wellstar pediatrician, spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics, creator of the child and family weight loss program “Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right” and author of Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right (Rodale).
Dr. Dolgoff has been featured on “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “The Dr. Oz Show,” “The Early Show,” “Katie,” “Fox & Friends,” “Nightline,” CNN, MSNBC, “700 Club,” Extra,” Lifetime, Discovery Health, “America’s Newsroom,” “Inside Edition,” “The Daily Buzz,” and many other major news programs and outlets. She has been written about in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, The Los Angeles Times, People Magazine, Seventeen Magazine, Vogue, Redbook, Parent Magazine, Parenting, and Shape.
Dr. Dolgoff grew up in Roslyn, New York and attended Princeton University where she graduated cum laude with a degree in molecular biology. Dr. Dolgoff continued her education at the NYU School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Columbia Presbyterian’s Children’s Hospital of New York. She works at Wellstar East Paulding Pediatrics as a private practice pediatrician and is a board-certified Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She serves as chairperson of the Communications and Media Committee for the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
