Dr. Timothy Ryan of Wellstar Health System

Dr. Timothy Ryan, a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon with WellStar Health System, will join The Weekly Check-Up on April 13 to discuss topics related to the head and neck.

Dr. Timothy Ryan is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon with Wellstar Medical Group, providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care to both pediatric and adult patients in metro Atlanta. He is dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care, employing a shared decision-making model. Recognized as a ‘Top Doctor’ by Castle Connolly and Atlanta Magazine, Dr. Ryan is highly esteemed by his community and peers.

He holds several leadership positions within Wellstar Health System and the local community, including Specialty Lead Physician for ENT at Wellstar Medical Group, Chair of the Department of Surgery at Douglas Medical Center, and past president of the Metro Atlanta Society for Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. As the medical group lead, he oversees one of Georgia’s largest and most experienced ENT practices, spanning 7 medical centers, 4 health parks, 12 clinics, and over 60 providers, all focused on delivering comprehensive, innovative, and world-class healthcare.

Dr. Ryan is married with two children and is an avid Atlanta United fan, often found at Mercedes Benz Stadium. He believes that kindness and hard work are the key ingredients to success.
