Dr. Reshma Chugani of Children’s Medical Group

On Sunday, October 18th, The Weekly Check-Up Atlanta is joined by Dr. Reshma Chugani of Children’s Medical Group, a pediatrician.

Dr. Reshma Chugani grew up in Connecticut and graduated magna cum laude from Yale College with a degree in Biology. She continued her medical education at the Yale University School of Medicine, receiving her M.D. in 1998, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. She completed her pediatric residency at Emory University in 2001 and has been practicing as a board-certified pediatrician in the Buckhead area of Atlanta ever since, joining Children’s Medical Group in 2026.

Dr. Chugani is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a member of the Georgia Chapter of the AAP, and serves on the clinical faculty at Emory University School of Medicine, where she continues to teach medical students. For Dr. Chugani, the most rewarding aspect of pediatrics is developing long-term relationships with patients and families, guiding them to stay happy and healthy as they grow. Outside of medicine, she lives in the Brookhaven area with her husband, has two grown sons, and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
