Dr. Ahmed Ansari, M.D., F.A.A.D. of Olansky Dermatology

On August 24, Dr. Scott Miller steps in as our guest host to speak with dermatologist Dr. Ahmed Ansari, M.D., F.A.A.D. of Olansky Dermatology.

Dr. Ansari is a board-certified dermatologist. He specializes in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery. He is also board-certified in Mohs surgery. Dr. Ansari graduated from Yale University with a degree in molecular cellular and developmental biology. Dr. Ansari earned his medical degree at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Additionally, Dr. Ansari has participated in an array of different dermatologic research and presentations, and he has published several dermatology journal articles on a variety of topics ranging from skin cancer to leprosy and autoimmune blistering diseases. He enjoys utilizing his vast dermatologic knowledge to teach and mentor medical students.

According to Dr. Ansari, the most rewarding aspect about being a dermatologist is caring for patients, building long term relationships with them, and watching their cutaneous health improve.

At home, Dr. Ansari enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, watching and playing basketball, watching Formula 1 racing, playing board games, cooking, kayaking, snorkeling, and hiking.
