Dr. Saneal Rajanahally of Urology of Greater Atlanta

Saneal Rajanahally, MD, FACS joined Urology of Greater Atlanta in September 2020. His expertise is in men’s health and male reproductive medicine and surgery. He is passionate about providing patient-centered medical and surgical treatments for male factor infertility, erectile and sexual dysfunction, hypogonadism (low testosterone), Peyronie’s Disease, and general urological conditions.
Dr. Rajanahally pursued undergraduate studies at Rice University in Houston, TX, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology and a B.A. in psychology. He then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine where he was elected a junior member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society as one of the top four students in his class, the highest academic distinction awarded on a national level.
Dr. Rajanahally subsequently completed his residency in urology at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. There, he had the privilege of caring for patients from all socioeconomic backgrounds, including veterans, children, privately-insured individuals, and the underserved population.
For subspecialty training, Dr. Rajanahally pursued a prestigious microsurgical fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. During this time, he received advanced training in operative techniques including vasectomy reversal, microsurgical sperm retrievals, microscopic varicocele repair, and inflatable penile prosthesis placement.
Dr. Rajanahally is an active member of the American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbook chapters, frequently speaks at both local and national conferences, and serves as a reviewer for several urological publications.
In his spare time, Dr. Rajanahally enjoys exercising, exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and all things related to Chicago sports.
