Certified Physician Assistant and Advanced Aesthetic Injector in Atlanta, Lauren Wages Edeker is an NCCPA board-certified and licensed Physician Assistant and Advanced Aesthetic Injector at Astra Plastic Surgery. She is highly knowledgeable, passionate and skilled in the art of facial aesthetics. A top Atlanta injector, she utilizes her extensive experience and training to deliver outstanding aesthetic outcomes for her patients. Lauren is a National Trainer for Allergan Medical Institute, where she educates other injectors and shares her knowledge and love of Botox and Juvéderm with her community.

Lauren specializes in advanced techniques with cosmetic injectables, including injections with a microcannula. In addition to injectable treatments, she is proficient with many lasers, including fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing and Profound® radio frequency non-surgical skin tightening. Lauren truly loves helping patients look and feel like the best versions of themselves. She works with patients to develop customized treatment plans that best achieve their cosmetic goals, and delivers beautiful and natural results using medical-grade skincare, non-invasive and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation techniques.

Lauren earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received specialized training in the surgical setting. Previously, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Allied Health Services at The University of Georgia in Athens. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.

Lauren and her family are Georgia natives. Outside of our cosmetic surgery practice, Lauren enjoys expressing her creativity through gardening and crocheting. She is an avid hiker and enjoys mountain biking, and spending time with her husband, son and their rescue dogs, Calvin and Louise, in her free time.
