Alpharetta plastic surgeon, Dr. Pallavi Kumbla, specializes in advanced cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Kumbla is dedicated to providing her patients with a positive plastic surgery experience through excellent care and a commitment to advancing the art and science of plastic and reconstructive surgery. As a female, Indian-American plastic surgeon, she offers a unique perspective on plastic and reconstructive surgery and is an amazing addition to our team of talented surgeon at Astra Plastic Surgery at both our Alpharetta and Cumming locations.

Dr. Kumbla was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended the University of South Alabama, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences. Shortly after, she was introduced to plastic and reconstructive surgery while studying at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. Throughout her education, she was inducted into the prestigious Gold Humanism honor society for her compassion in patient care, graduated summa cum laude, and was honored with the Dean’s award.

Following this education, Dr. Kumbla attended University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she completed 5 years of general surgery training. During this time, Dr. Kumbla not only learned about some of the most advanced surgical techniques, but also honed in on her high standard of patient care. She studied under renowned breast surgical oncologists and plastic and reconstructive surgeons who specialize in the treatment of complex reconstructive trauma patients. She was also inducted into the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and published numerous publications in several plastic and reconstructive surgery journals.
