This week on The Weekly Check-Up, we are joined by Ralph Castillo, CEO, and Dr. Rick Brewer, CMO, of Morgan Medical Center.

We’ll discuss Morgan Medical Center’s 60-year history of serving the Madison community, the important role community hospitals play, why the hospital is a great place to work, and Morgan Medical Center’s innovative “swing bed” program.

Ralph A. Castillo, Chief Executive Officer

A 30-year veteran of the healthcare industry, Ralph joined Morgan Medical Center as CEO in 2012. In this role, he champions the hospital’s vision of becoming a patient-focused center of excellence with a focus on patient care and safety, the financial viability of the hospital and community engagement. Prior to leading Morgan Medical Center, Ralph served as CEO and chief financial officer at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, North Carolina. He holds a BS and MBA from Brenau University and is a licensed CPA. Ralph lives in rural Morgan County with his wife Pamela; they have five children.
