Our host, Mika, is joined by Garrett McCoy of Pure Strength & Movement on September 19 to discuss Garrett’s background in the fitness industry as well as leadership. We will also discuss COVID-19, how building our immune system should be a top priority and how to begin.
Garrett has over 15 years of Personal Training and Club Management Experience. He began his career at RDV Sportsplex in Orlando FL in 2004 with an emphasis on Sports Performance and group training. He quickly raised through the training ranks and was promoted to Training Services Team Leader. In 2009 Garrett moved to Tampa Bay to operate the Clearwater location of Stand Up Fitness, a Stand Up Paddleboard adventure & fitness company.
In 2010 Garrett Became the Personal Training Manager for Harbour Island Athletic Club in Tampa as part of the Wellbridge Corporation. Garrett had an illustrious career with Wellbridge as a 2x winner of the Personal Training Manager of the Year, creator of Island Wars, and national program experience in Colorado, East Coast, and the New Mexico Regions. Garrett has mentored 100’s of Personal Trainers and is excited to bring his vast experience to Pure Strength & Movement.
