Ann Howard and Dr. Peter Howard of CORA Physical Therapy
On October 19, we are joined by Ann Howard and Dr. Peter Howard of CORA Physical Therapy to discuss shoulder pain and injuries along with treatments with surgery or therapy.
Ann Howard, PT, DPT
Ann graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from California State University of Northridge in 2014. She then continued to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Arcadia in Glenside, PA in 2017. She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and acute rehab settings and loved them all. She joined CORA in June of 2018 as a Clinic Manager in Holiday, FL. She is trained in Graston Technique and enjoys treating Vestibular and Neurological conditions as well as Orthopedic. In her free time, she enjoys watching baseball, going to concerts, scrapbooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Peter Howard, MD
Originally from Petoskey, Michigan, Dr. Howard has undergone extensive training in sports medicine, arthroscopy, robotic-assisted joint replacement, and orthopedics at several universities and medical centers. After graduating from medical school in 2008, he pursued orthopedic training at the Homer Stryker School of Medicine in order to get his patients back to their lives as quickly as possible. Upon completing fellowship, Dr. Howard completed a comprehensive orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas. There Dr. Howard was able to train with the Houston Astros, Texans, Rockets, Dynamo, Rice University, and elite high school football programs.
Dr. Howard specializes in rotator cuff repairs, cartilage surgery, meniscus injuries, ACL injuries, shoulder dislocations, hip impingement, fractures, joint replacement, and arthritis care.
