Dr. James Elmore of Georgia Urology
On June 23, we’re joined by Dr. James Elmore of Georgia Urology for a discussion regarding Pediatric Urology.
Dr. Elmore graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergrad and stayed there for medical school. He completed a six-year residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed a postgraduate fellowship in pediatric urology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Elmore’s areas of urologic expertise are pediatric laparoscopy and robotics, childhood renal stones, hypospadias, and vesicoureteral reflux.
Dr. Elmore is a member of the American Board of Urology (diplomate), American Urological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Society for Pediatric Urology.
He has been published in numerous publications and is a frequent presenter at national and regional scientific meetings.
Dr. Elmore has lectured and instructed in robotics and laparoscopy in both the United States and abroad. He is the recipient of the prestigious American Foundation for Urologic Diseases (AFUD) Research Scholarship for his work on the molecular mechanisms responsible for hypospadias.
Dr. Elmore, a native of North Carolina, has admitting privileges at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Egleston and Scottish Rite Campuses), Southern Regional Medical Center, Northside Hospital, Atlanta Medical Center, and Grady Hospital. He has offices in the following Georgia pediatric urology locations: Meridian Mark Plaza, Fayetteville, and Stockbridge.
