This week we’re joined by Eric Riesenberg and Dr. Hagar Badawy of The Atlanta Center for Medical Research.

Eric J. Riesenberg, CPA of The Atlanta Center for Medical Research

Mr. Riesenberg is the director of operations for the Atlanta Center for Medical Research. Overseeing all employees and Investigators, he is involved in every aspect of day-to-day operations at ACMR. Mr. Riesenberg has been an advisor to the board since 2001. He became director of operations in 2008.

Mr. Riesenberg currently serves on the board of advisors to the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Bioscience Leadership Council. He is a member of the American Israel Chamber for Commerce and sits on the medical committee. He also serves on the board of Southern Surplus Liquidators, Inc., a liquidations company in Florida and Georgia. He is a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA) and American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP).

Mr. Riesenberg has served as a past board member to the Florida Department of Children and Family Services. Prior to joining ACMR, Mr. Riesenberg worked in the field of public accounting, where he worked with many public companies in both audits and taxes. He holds a degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Hagar Badawy, PharmD of The Atlanta Center for Medical Research

Dr. Badawy is the Pharmacy Manager at the Atlanta Center for Medical Research. While she initially served as a dietician for the DeKalb Board of Health-WIC, she comes to ACMR with years of pharmaceutical experience, the majority of which has been in community pharmacy.

As Pharmacy Manager, Dr. Badawy finds that the most rewarding part of her position is helping the research healthcare community provide increasingly better options and outcomes for patients.

When she’s not working, Dr. Badawy takes pride in maintaining her fitness and wellness through a variety of exercises. More than anything, she loves traveling the world with her friends and family as often as possible.

Dr. Badawy received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences in dietetics from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University. She is also an active member of the American Pharmacist Association.
