We’ll be joined by Dr. Chris Haraszti of DeKalb Medical, who will discuss the latest in orthopedic surgery.
Christopher Haraszti, M.D.
Providing skilled and compassionate care to his patients, Christopher Haraszti M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon with offices located at North DeKalb Orthopedics P.C. Nationally ranked in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling, Dr. Haraszti has been the doctor for several professional fighters and is uniquely qualified to treat athletes.
A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Haraszti is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in sports medicine as well as hip and knee replacement surgery.
Utilizing state of the art technologies, Dr. Haraszti can also provide care for neck and back disorders and has dedicated himself to the development of methods to decrease postoperative pain and speed the recovery process.
An accomplished musician and Atlanta native, Dr. Haraszti earned both his college and medical degrees from Emory University. He obtained training in orthopedics at Tulane University in New Orleans where he completed his residency.
While at Tulane, he sharpened his orthopedic trauma skills at Charity Hospital, one of the busiest emergency rooms in the country. Dr. Haraszti also served as a chief resident in orthopedics at Tulane where he provided care following Hurricane Katrina and contributed to the city’s renewal.
