Dr. Binu Kunjummen of DeKalb Medical and Atlanta Heart Specialists

Dr. Binu Kunjummen completed his medical degree at Ross School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. His residency in Internal Medicine took place at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, NJ.  Dr. Kunjummen also completed three fellowships at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey, Tulane University School of Medicine, and the University of Texas School of Medicine. During this training he studied pacemakers and cardiovascular devices, cardiology, and interventional cardiology.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Kunjummen is able to perform a wide range of cardiovascular procedures, including peripheral angiograms, transluminal angioplasty, stents, coronary intervention, coronary atherectomy, and percutaneous coronary intervention.
