Dr. Caryn Johnson of DeKalb Medical

Dr. Caryn Johnson was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She attended Spelman College for her undergraduate studies where she majored in sociology. After college, Dr. Johnson received a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology from University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Public Health. She then returned to her home town for medical school at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She then continued her medical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Johnson was in private practice in Lawrenceville, GA before joining Dekalb Women’s Specialist in August 2011.

Dr. Johnson enjoys gourmet cooking and dining, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
